So….maybe I’m just lame but decided to put watermelon vodka with 7up. WHY HAVE I NOT DONE THIS BEFORE?? Lol super good! And omg easy! I usually drink watermelon vodka by itself cause well, its like koolaid!! (It reminds myself of my 8year old days) but I wanted to cut it with something tonight …7up it was and wow. Super easy.. the flavor is totally there and well, let’s just say I’m excited about it. (If u can’t tell) I’d give u a picture but it looks like a glass of 7up since watermelon vodka is clear….
4 oz watermelon vodka
10 oz 7up
Mix with ice and enjoy!!!
1 bottle Moscato wine (semi-sweet white wine)
1 cup light rum
1 ½ cups apple cider
1 cup ginger ale
apple slices for serving
In a large pitcher, combine all ingredients and stir well.
Serve sangria over ice with thinly sliced or chopped apples.
6 c. watermelon cubes, seeds removed
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 T. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 c. Moscato (or other slightly sweet white wine)
Place watermelon cubes, sugar, and lemon juice in a food processor or blender.
Blend until smooth.
Pour through a strainer to remove the pulp. Place strained liquid in a glass baking dish and stir in the Moscato.
Place the baking dish in the freezer and freeze the mixture for 2 to 3 hours, stirring with a fork every 45 minutes or so to break up ice crystals.
When ready to serve, spoon the watermelon slush into a wine (or other) glass, filling the glass about 3/4 full. Pour in wine and stir.
